Garments for hair is architecture…
hair is architecture… is a project that focuses on the glory of Nigerian Yorùbá hairstyles. “It explores embodiment, subjectivity, material knowledge and my Nigerian identity. It examines hair as the Yoruba people of Nigeria view it- as sacred, as an extension of the physical head, as well as the physical result of this belief-elaborate hairstyles, alongside the regulations surrounding architecture.”
